Reiki session- What to expect:

The client is welcomed into the healing
space and generally reclines on a
massage table during the Reiki session.
The client is encouraged to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing, remains fully clothed except for the removal of shoes. 
The therapist uses intuitive guidance
and a series of traditional hand positions with light touch (or above the body position ing if the client is uncomfortable with light touch.) The traditional positions begin with the head and proceed down and around the body.  The client turns face down and the therapist continues work on the client's body. Adjustments are made as the client's health condition
and comfort level dictate.  Music and
aromatherapy may also be a part of the experience. There is no manipulation of the body as in massage. No health advise is given. The therapist is a conduit for life force energy and uses intuitive skills in being guided to spend greater time in areas of the body where energy is most needed.  At the very least, the client experiences deep relaxation, which facilitates the body - mind - spirit's ability to heal.

additional welcoming time and transition time at the session's conclusion)
Clients are asked to refrain from the use of caffiene or other stimulants for a minimum of  three hours before the scheduled appointment.

Place:     At the home-office of Christine Lassota in Rolling Meadows, Illinois 
Arrangements can be made for providing Reiki for Hospice patients, hospitalized or homebound individuals and others. There is an additional travel distance / time fee as a part of services beyond the Rolling Meadows location.

Energy Exchange:
Currently $60 is the regular energy exchange fee for a single Reiki session.
[A three session commitment is encouraged - Pre-payment of a 3 session packages reduces the fee to $50 per session.]  Ask about the special multi-sessions packet availability. Note that as of January 1, 2013 the single session fee will increase slightly to $65. [The 2013 three session pre-paid bundle discount will be $165 which is a savings of $30.]

Reik 1 classes are with Christine have ALWAYS been offered on an individual basis.  16 Class hours are scheduled over time by mutual agreement. There is study of printed and audio-visual materials, as well as practice time required beyond the student-teacher class hours. An opportunity for INTEGRATION is at the heart of this instructional choice.  This is an empowering, move at your own pace learning experience.
The goal is to provide a learning environment which is the basis for personal transformation.

     In 2013, Small Group Reiki 1 Classes will be offered as indicated in the column to the left.

Reiki 2 - will be offered 3 times in 2013 in a small group setting.  The class is generally scheduled on a Sunday afternoon from 1:00-6:00pm with each student also receiving a private mentoring session scheduled 3-6 weeks after the group class.
2013 Classes will be on Sunday, Feb 24, Sunday, June 30 and Sunday, Sept 29.

Reiki 3 (also called Advance Reiki Techniques) is potentially part of Reiki Master  and Reiki Master-Teacher Internship.
Offered on an individual basis, usually by invitation, a student can receive the Reiki Master attunement even if he/she has no desire or calling to be a Reiki Master-Teacher

Reiki Master-Teacher Internship requires a commitment to additional individual class time, learning and practice of advanced techniques, establishment of a practice of seeing clients for sessions, opportinities to lead a Reiki Share/ Healing Circle, participate in co-teaching on the Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 levels and the practice of attunements.  On-going mentorship is available and encouraged.
