This is a FREE self-care and community building opportunity for practitioners at all levels. Reiki Shares provide an opportunity to explore and express commitment to Reiki, to deepen practice and to become aware of the desire or need for further training.  Of course, most Reiki Masters and practitioners would say that what they most enjoy about a Reiki Share is receiving Reiki themselves at the bodywork table.  

Reiki Shares at Dream Heart Services while in a private residence ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (dating back to June of 2011).  Alternatively called a Reiki Healing Circle, these regular gathrings provide a safe space for the curious to receive more information and to experience Reiki for the first time free of charge.  Such Reiki Shares offer an initial opportunity for acutely or chronically ill individuals to experience the healing effects of Reiki.

All Reiki Shares offer community education, care of the sick, care for caregivers and the opportunity for practitioners to deepen their Reiki practices.  Reiki Shares create community and within that community the opportunity for like-minded people to connect and form an on-going support network.

           REIKI CLASSES 2013                

Reiki I Class and Initiation (1:1)-
* By individual arrangement has until now been the only option.
  New Class Group options being offered 2013 
* Held at the Dream Services Office in Rolling Meadows, IL
(nearest cross streets: Algonquin Road just west of New Wilke Road).
* I have developed a preference for working with Reiki I students in a 1:1 relationship.  This
  offers the opportunity to truly meet the student where he/she is and to provide instruction in
  the principles and techniques that are part of the Reiki tradition while providing a student- centered learning experience. This approach also encourages integration on a most  personal level.
* Energy exchange: $250 for instruction time, attunement and certificate suitable for framing. Two books (The ICRT Wm Rand text and a P.Quest test plus other printed material. Also included a 2 CD Reiki Meditations set. Instruction time individually arranged to suit your schedule.   Time commitment of 14-18 hours required.   Prior to 2013, Christine only offered Reiki 1 on an individual arrangement basis over 5-7 sessions.

THIS IS NOT 'QUICKY' REIKI - This RMTeacher works best with individuals who are already doing their "work" - who

Reiki ! Classes and Attunements will be offered in a small group setting over 2 days (a week apart so as to provide an integration and practice period.  Students will learn about the history of Reiki, the guiding Principles of Reiki and hand hand positions for self healing and work with others. There will practice opportunity. Students will be exposed to basic info about their energy body, chakra and intuition. Twenty-one (or more days) after the class every student has the option of scheduling a personal follow up consultation/mentoring session. 

* Reiki 1 Class fee: $250 ($75 non-refundable deposit due by registration deadline which is one week before class date)

Reiki II Class and Attunement                                                
SUNDAY, JUNE 30, 2013
* [1:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.] (Registrants are asked to arrive by 12:45)
    * Requirements: prior attunement to Reiki I and mini-consultation before registration if your Reiki I attunement was with someone other than Christine.
* Registration deadline for June class is Monday, June 24th.  A non-refundable deposit of $75 and registration form is due by registration deadline.

* Energy exchange: $185 (Register and pay class fee by June 10th to be granted a special fee reduction to $150) 
* Auditing of this class by previously attuned Reiki II practitioners is also possible for $85.

* On-going mentoring is available to every student by way of individual appointment and 
  encouragment to participate in the monthly Reiki Share events.

• While this is a free event for students already attuned to Reiki - free will offerings will be accepted to become part of a scholarship fund to be used as need arises.

Reiki 3 (Advance Reiki Techniques)
aka Master ClassA/B(Master Teacher) and Attunement -
As of Fall, 2012 - Reiki 3 initiation/attunement is offered in TWO possible ways as there are those who are interested in advancement beyond Reiki 2 but have no intention of teaching or passing on the attunements. Also there are those who feel/know a clear calling and intention to teach as they are ready.  
         Reiki 3A with the certification of ART - Reiki Master Practitioner
         Reiki 3B - Full Reiki Master Teacher attunement with the certification initially being Reiki Master Teacher (intern - on              one date) and a second date to indicate completion of the internship basics - Mentoring to as to insure preparation
            and readiness for teaching and attuning are provided at this level.

By individual arrangement.

• Energy exchange: $295 [plus $40 separate book/materials fee] with instruction time individually arranged. 
• Time commitment varies depend on the interview- on-going mentoring included. 
• The mentoring experience carries with it the expectation that the student will (a) lead a Reiki Share experience and actively participate in 4-6 Reiki Shares or Reiki Exchanges (b) participate in at least one Reiki 1 class and a Reiki 1 attunement (c) serve as a co-teacher for a Reiki 2 class (d) demonstrate knowledge of Class level attunement rituals, Healing Attunement and Aura Clearing techniques (e) participation in breathwork and attunement practices (f) take advantage of individual and group mentoring opportunities (g) be familiar with documentation procedures and have a solid understanding of "limits of practice"

Karuna Reiki (R) system was developed by Wm Lee Rand and the program is taught only by those who are registered with the International Center for Reiki. A registered teacher will have a certificate issued by the center and a registration number. If a teacher is not registered then they are not teaching Karuna Reiki (R)  

Karuna is a Sanskrit work and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen.  It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and can also be translated as "COMPASSIONATE ACTION". Christine Lassota completed Karuna Reiki (R) Master training on June 4, 2004 with Pamela Arwine  KRMT. Christine's Karuna Reiki (R) certificate number is 84498.  Her certificate is available for verification at Dream Heart Services, Rollilng Meadows, IL.
